Back in 2013, a friend introduced Megan to the smash-hit board game Lords of Waterdeep. The rest was history! With her husband, Megan has gone on to collect over 100 board games and has hosted many game nights with her family and friends, passing on the love of the hobby to almost everyone in their friendship group.

These days, she's more likely to be playing family-friendly games with her children, but luckily, there are plenty on the shelf to choose from.

Megan has been a freelance writer since 2019, although she's been writing for fun since the age of 6. She is currently studying for a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at the Open University. She has a special interest in both video and board gaming and is a staff writer for the print magazine Ninty Fresh, a specialist Nintendo magazine. She also has several articles on Game Rant and Zatu Gaming, a popular UK-based board and videogaming store.

Megan lives in Somerset, England, with her husband and two children. When she's not gaming in some form, she's usually reading, writing, or going to as many gigs as she can squeeze in.
